I would definitely paint the bed!!! The shape of the bed complements the shape of the mirror on the vanity. I would raise the headboard allowing it to peak over the pillows more. I LOVE your style and vision for your home!!! I look forward to seeing your decorating ideas each week. I have implemented the little white starfish all through my house since I found your website --- some are subtle but other places they are more stated! I love the simplicity of each one and how they add just the right touch! You have an awesome blog!!! You are blessed in so many ways and an inspiration to us all! :)

Love your wonderful new room, so fresh and crisp, love the picture and the checkered skirt, so pretty, you did a great job, think I will come and stay..lol

I agree, paint the headboard white...

Your room is beautiful, and so inviting!

Hi! I found your blog from an older post on Southern Hospitality. I love coastal decor, so am always on the lookout for a new place for ideas. I absolutely love this gorgeous silk check fabric, and think you did a great job repurposing former drapery panels into a bedskirt. The drapes are beautiful too, though if I might offer one suggestion: The curtain rod is too skimpy for such nice panels and such a large check. A more substantial rod would do them justice. Also, an idea for something to finish off your vanity area might be some blue & white plates on the wall. It would pull the color across the room from your beautiful drapes. Looking forward to seeing more of your coastal inspiration!

Aw, this was a definitely nice post. In idea I would like to put in writing like this moreover - taking time and actual effort to make a highly good article?- but what can I say?- I procrastinate alot and by no means appear to get some thing done.
