Over Christmas break we decided to take a mini-vacation to Ft Myers. (besides spending several hours shopping at the awesome outlet mall and a fab dinner at Carrabas) we visited the waterfront Winter estates of Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. These are my FAVORITE kind of houses- nostalgic "Old Florida" with wrap around porches, heart pine wide plank floors, beautiful gardens. Here are several photos from that day...
