Gallery Wall on Stairs Landing

I recently worked on hanging our family photo gallery on the stair landing.  Here is a quick before photo of the stairwell:

We had the strange light fixture removed, and hung up all our framed photos...

Now it's fun to walk up the stairs and see all those baby photos and fun memories! 

Next on my list here is to paint the bannister black like this:

I have always loved this look!  And it would look great because of all the black accents throughout the Family Room and Kitchen...

We also need to locate a new light fixture...I think an old lantern would look great.
