Last week we enjoyed a yummy and fun "Breakfast Dinner" for FFD#2...Breakfast Dinner is always a favorite around our house...we decided to let the girls wear their pj's to make it extra fun. Here's what we did:
The Table-
I chose a colorful blue and white checkered table cloth and bright yellow napkins.
Woven chargers and napkin rings looked nice.
The Centerpiece-
The centerpiece was a woven tray with a pitcher of sunflowers, a bread basket for some yummy bagels and our "Family Table Topics" game...more about that later!
The Food-
One of the BEST things about breakfast dinner, is that Greg helps cook (he is actually a better breakfast chef than I am!!)
We prepared a variety of breakfast favorites...eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, etc...
We served everything "buffet style" like at a fancy brunch!
The Activity-
That night's dinner activity was a fun game called "Table Topics"- a great table conversation game- we have the Family set of Table Topics.
Table Topics is a set of cards with interesting discussion questions, each person takes turns selecting a card, reading the question, and we all discuss our answers...
We all had a blast at Breakfast Dinner... stay tuned next week for: 60's Night Fondue Dinner!
