OK, the moving and unpacking is finally winding down, and we are starting to feel more settled. So I thought I would take you on a quick tour of the new house with some BEFORE photos! We have been working hard renovating and decorating, so the AFTER photos will be coming soon...
Here is the front door, we have already changed the door color from "harvest gold" to a classic black!
Here is the front porch...nice and spacious- just waiting for some comfy rocking chairs (which are currently on order!)
When you enter the front door, there is an adjoining living room and dining room
The living room/dining room is a nice space- we have already refinished the hardwood floors a darker color, I plan on replacing the light fixture, etc...
Next up is the family room and kitchen...get ready...the faux fireplace wall is definitely NOT my style, so this entire wall has been completely reworked!
And the kitchen is almost a TOTAL re-do, we plan on refinishing the cabinets, the backsplash, the light fixtures, etc... I can't wait to show you the end result.
The kitchen features a large breakfast area, so I look forward to putting a larger kitchen table here.
The Master Bedroom is spacious and I really like the wall color, so not too much to do in here except move in a decorate!
Those were just a few quick pics...I can't wait to show you some AFTER photos as soon as I get some ready for you...we are absolutely loving the new house so far, and are so thankful to have moved here! The house looks wonderful, congrats!! How exciting to be able to redo everything to make it your own.....can't wait to see the final results.....
