OK, so here are some before and afters of the Living Room area. The Living Room and Dining Room are directly off the entry and open onto each other. I love how open and spacious the area feels! Not much to change in here, we darkened the floors, but left the exsisting wall color. I love the tray celilings that were here!
Before-
After
This living room is laid out almost exactly like my old living room, so it made the arrangement easy! This space is a little smaller, but I think it has a real cozy, cottage-y feel now! I was able to use all my favorite things, my large mirror and set of 4 seashell shadowboxes, all my french style chairs, etc...
For Thanksgiving, I am using my favorite Dear Lillie "give thanks" pillow, I paired it with the animal print fabric (soon to be made into a REAL pillow, right now it is wrapped around a pillow insert to give you the idea!).
Here are some photos looking onto the Dining Room, which is not finished yet...more about this room in my next post.
Right now, I am using my old Chinese blue and white lamps...not totally crazy about these in my all neutral room, but they will do for now!
Soon this room will be transformed for Christmas...so check back in a week or so!

I love the lamps, but I'm a fan of blue and white chinoiserie, so I can't help myself.
Your house is coming together so beautifully!

So excited to see your progress! The floor stain came out beautiful and really makes the space feel warm. Love the side board with all your great crafting supplies hidden but ready for use. Looking forward to seeing your wonderful gift for decorating on display , especially for Christmas!

I absolutely love this room. We have a similarly laid out space and I can guarantee I'm using this an my inspiration. I'm curious if you would do a resources list for some of the things ~ especially the couch and the two round tables in the corner. Thank you!!

This actually answered my difficulty, thank you!
Nice post. I find out some thing much more challenging on various blogs everyday. It'll always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little some thing from their store. I'd prefer to use some with the content on my weblog regardless of whether you don't mind. Natually I'll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
